The HSE in collaboration with The Donegal Local Forum are hosting a local mental health engagement event.

This will be in the form of a coffee morning and information session that will take place on:

Date: Monday 13th August

Time: 11am to 1pm

Location: Motley Crow, Anti-café, Railway House, Ramelton Road, Letterkenny

The aim is to promote Mental Health Engagement and its collaborative work through the local forum with people with experience of using mental health services and those who support them. We wish to invite all with an interest in Mental Health, that includes, service users, family members, carers supporters and staff.

We will hear from service providers and people with lived experience on the day and will have health-based information and materials available from a range of local providers

For those new to mental health engagement the Local Forum is a monthly meeting of people with a diverse range of experience in Mental Health Services who meet to identify and deliberate on issues important to them with the goal of seeing improvements in mental health services Currently for Community Healthcare Organisation Area 1 there are three Local Fora, one for Cavan/Monaghan, Sligo/Leitrim and Donegal.

For further information and or to register for this event please contact Patrick by e mail: Patrick.nwaokorie@hse.ie or Text: 087 3512009

All are welcome to attend.
