Gardai in Milford are investigating an alleged assault in Drumbern Milford on Monday morning last at approx. 3.30am.
The Garda Press Office said that a female in her 40s was assaulted and investigations are ongoing.
Local Gardai are processing CCTV footage of the area at the time of the incident.
They have appealed to anyone who may have been in the area or might have witnessed suspicious movements around that time are asked to contact the Garda Station at Milford on 91 53060.
