Finn Valley’s Jansen helps Irish relay team to Gold at Celtic Games

Finn Valley AC’s Daniella Jansen helped Ireland to gold in the U18 4x400m relay at the Celtic Games in Scotland this afternoon.

The Killygordon teenager ran the second leg of the race as Ireland took the top prize from Scotland.

Caoimhe Cronin, Ella Duane and Miriam Daly were the other members of the Irish team at the Grangemouth Stadium.

This was Jansen’s first international and it was certainly a memorable first day in the Irish vest.

The Irish team manager was Finn Valley AC’s Dermot McGranaghan.

Ireland won in 3 minutes and 55.04 seconds.
