Man in his 20’s turns himself in to gardai following fatal crash in Bundoran

A man in his 20s has presented himself to Gardaí in Ballyshannon in relation to the single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Eastend, Bundoran in the early hours of this morning.

He was arrested and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Ballyshannon Garda Station.

Two young people in their 20s died following a horrific crash in Bundoran.

The accident happened just before 3.30am at Eastend in Bundoran as a group of young people returned from a night out.

Gardaí said the car collided with a wall at Eastend in Bundoran.

Two other young people are fighting for their lives as a result of the crash.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Investigations are ongoing.”
