The new volunteer group MFI Cardiac First Responders are pleased to announce they are going live with the National Ambulance Service on Monday, August 27 in the Mountcharles, Frosses and Inver areas.

Volunteers have undergone intensive four months training in CPR, defibrillator use, choking assistance, chest pain and stroke.

They will assist in emergencies between 7pm to 7am pending the arrival of an emergency ambulance.

In Case of Emergency Dial 112 or 999.

The volunteer group would like to extend a special thanks to all businesses who made donations for training and purchase of the defibrillators.

A new defibrillator has been installed outside Sheerin’s Londis in Mountcharles for public use 24/7.

Depending on donations, we hope to provide a Defibrillator in Frosses.

New volunteers and donations are always welcome.  Check out our Facebook page
