A very busy, family-run, traditional pub outside Donegal Town requires bar staff to join their team.
The position is part-time one with weekend hours.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have at least 1-2 years experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
* The ability to engage well with guests to provide an outstanding and unforgettable experience
* A proactive attitude and attention to detail
* Be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
* Be a team player; cooperative and supportive to colleagues
* Have the ability to lift 10 kilo boxes and stand for an 8-hour shift
* Comfortable working a shift alone
* Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
* Is over 18 with up-to-date and readily verifiable references
Key duties inlcude:
* Taking drink/food orders and serving guests
* Preparing basic food orders: sandwiches, soup, scones etc.
* Follow checklists in terms of cleaning in all areas of the pub including customers areas, kitchen, bar, toilets, storage areas, laundry, etc
*Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
* Comply with all food and beverage regulations
* Take payments via our Point-of-Sale system
* Ensure clean glasses, bar equipment and working areas
