Structural Steel Detailer
Key responsibilities include:
Taking project from the design stage through to the production of general arrangement and detailed fabrication drawings for a wide range of industrial structures and including input into the purchasing of materials and services.
Qualifications & Skills
A minimum of 3 years experience using Tekla Structures or Strucad software
Strong technical and IT Skills
Strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to deal with and manage a number of projects at any one time
Problem Solving – Ability to deal proactively with work-related problems
Goal Oriented – Ability to focus on a goal and obtain pre-determined results
Trainee Structural Steel Detailer
An opportunity exists for a Trainee Structural Steel Detailer. Training will be provided both in house and with Tekla Structures.
Qualifications & Skills
A third level degree in an engineering/construction related discipline
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
Strong technical, communication and IT skills
Ambitious with a determination to succeed
Good written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail
