Hegarty’s Home Interiors in Buncrana are recruiting.
The leading store requires a full-time furniture and flooring sales representative.
Minimum skill levels:
* Computer literate
* Smart appearance for meeting and greeting clients
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting and moving of heavy items of furniture.
* Fluent English
* Flexible attitude to meet business demands as part of a larger team
Desirable skills:
* Customer service
* Highly motivated
* Cash handling
* Previous retail experience in the furniture/flooring sales (training will be given)
* Full driving licence
Responsibilities:
* Working as part of a team to achieve sales targets
* Liaise with customers to assist with queries and questions
* Ensure all products are barcoded
* Must be able to drive a Van and hold a clean and valid driving license as the role occasionally involves moving items via Van
* Open availability and flexibility to work weekends to meet the needs of the business.
* Breakdown/unpack Accessories stock after arrival
* Maintaining the internal layout of the store ensuring all products are displayed and labelled correctly and that the store is clean and tidy.
* Assisting with dispatch and delivery lists
Salary : A basic plus uncapped commission
