Several An Post services suspended across County Donegal

An Post has warned customers to expect delays after the service announced that over 60 post offices have been disrupted due to Storm Ali across Donegal. 

Mail deliveries had to be suspended during the height of the storm across parts of the North and North West.

It comes as thousands of people are without power in homes and business this afternoon across Donegal.

Within the last hour gale force winds of 92km an hour (57mph) have been recorded in Malin head.
