Have your say on the new St Johnston – Carrigans greenway development

The St. Johnston and Carrigans Family Resource Centre in conjunction with SUSTRANS, the sustainable transport charity, are urging members of the community to come along to hear proposals for a new greenway development.

The proposed cycle and walking lane will be constructed on the old railway line and act as a safe and healthy way to travel between the two villages.

The potential construction of a greenway comes with the aim of attracting more visitors in the long run.

As part of an ongoing feasibility study, community members are now being asked to come along and express their opinions on the idea.

The community information and feedback session will take place at the St. Johnston and Carrigans Family Resource Centre on Tuesday, September 25 from 7.30pm – 9.00pm.

More information can be read about the event here.
