Two people were rescued when their small fishing boat sank off Fanad this afternoon.
The pair were rescued by another fishing boat close to Ballyhoorisky Point around 3.30pm
Both the Rescue 118 helicopter and Mulroy Coastguard were rushed to the scene after the alarm was raised.
However, the rescue services were stood down when it became known that the pair were safe.
It is not understood either suffered any serious injury.
