Yvonne Bonner showed neither fatigue nor jet lag as she hit 2-4 for Glenfin ladies to book an Ulster semi-final place.

Just back from Australia, Bonner was in inspired form as Glenfin won by 16 points at Pairc Taobhoige.

Glenfin welcomed Bonner back from a week in Australia, where she won a contract at Women’s AFL side Greater Western Sydney Giants. Bonner will take up her place with the Giants for the 2019 season.

Bonner was back in time to take her place in the XV, but Glenfin were without county final star Karen Guthrie. The midfielder was unable to line up due to a troublesome injury.

Herron bagged the game’s opening goal in the second minute and it was Glenfin off and running,

Aoife Brady should have netted soon after for Lurgan, but fired wide.

Bonner raced onto a pass from Katie Long for the second goal in the seventh minute.

And Glenfin were ruthless as they hit a third inside of a minute, Bonner feeding Gemma Glackin who made no mistake.

Captain Grainne Houston arched over a point before Bonner wonderfully found the range from out on the right-hand side.

Lauren Martin and Herron helped Glenfin lead 3-5 to 0-4 at the break.

Glackin, Herron and Bonner tacked on points before Herron netted an excellent fourth goal. Driving from deep, Herron made no mistake in riffling to the net in style.

Six minutes form the end, Bonner drilled in her second major of the day and they were off to the semis.
