Glenfin, Donegal – and now Greater Western Sydney Giants – ace Yvonne Bonner is this week’s Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub Sports Person of the Week, in association with O’Reilly’s.

Bonner scored 2-4 for Glenfin in Sunday’s Ulster SFC win over Lurgan from County Cavan.

Bonner was only just back from a week in Australia where at a CrossCoders camp, she won a contract with the Giants for the 2019 season.

Bonner polled 321 of the 685 votes cast – taking 47 per cent of the votes this week.

She saw off Paul McFadden of Letterkenny AC and Liam Mailey, the Convoy native now keeping goal with St Jude’s, who beat Ballymun Kickhams in the Dublin SFC.

Each weekly award winner will receive a kitbag, a jersey and a half-zip, supplied by O’Reilly’s.
