Twins to show true colours for first time!

Twins Kyle and Cillian Friel couldn’t get any closer.

The 11-year-olds do lots of the same things and are best friends – apart from when it comes to football.

The boys, from Cashel on the Fanad Peninsula, will attend their first English Premiership game this Sunday when they will be wearing different football shirts.

Kyle is a fanatical Liverpool FC fan while brother Cillian can’t get enough of Manchester City.

The lads, who are pupils at Scoil Mhuire Cashel, will be travelling to Liverpool today (SAT) with proud mum Eimear to watch tomorrow’s big game at Anfield.

Although the lads are identical twins, Eimear says she has no problems telling them apart – even when they swap football jerseys for a laugh.

Eimear, herself a big Liverpool fan, says a draw will make for a happy household.

“We’re all really looking forward to it. They best friends and do everything together and only ever argue about football.

“We’re really looking forward to the occasion and although I’d love to see Liverpool win, I think a draw will make my life a lot easier,” she laughed.

All smiles now but who’ll be smiling on Sunday afternoon?
