Impressive away point for LyIT ladies in Premier North opener

Letterkenny Institute of Technology were impressive today in earning a thrilling draw away to Ulster University, Jordanstown in their opening Colleges Premier North game of the season.

Zoe McGlynn and Nicole Gordon put Jonny Baird’s team 2-0 up, only for the home side to get back on level terms.

Yet, LyIT hit the front again through substitute Eilish Havlin, but were unable to hold on as the Jordanstown students equalised.
