Eoin Waide knows Naomh Conaill didn’t do themselves justice in the 2017 final – and wants to make amends on Sunday.

Naomh Conaill scored only one second-half point as Kilcar overcame the Glenties men.

“It’s great to be back in a final,” Waide said.

“We feel we didn’t do ourselves justice. We threw a bit more caution to the wind this year. People say we’re defensive, but we do commit a lot of players forward.”

“You have to play to your strengths. You have to mind the house, but you do have to score more than the opposition to win.”
