Bonagee United held their annual ladies team presentations on Friday night in the Clanree Hotel, Letterkenny.

A big crowd turned out to toast the 2018 season with teams from under-8 to senior represented.

Bonagee United compete in the North West Women’s Super League at senior level and in the Donegal Women’s League for their underage teams.

Chantelle Grant, in her first full season back from a cruciate injury, was named Senior Player of the Year.

Goalkeeper Clare Friel, at just 16 and in her first season at the club, was the recipient of both Players Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year, while Natalie McFadden was top scorer on the senior team.

The U14s and U12s both had success this year in the Plate competitions.

Amy Callaghan and Caitlin Hume were joint Player of the Year for the U14s, with Hannah Hopkins top goalscorer. Orla McGlynn was named the Most Improved Player in the U14s.

Grace Murphy and Katherine Hopkins were the Joint Player of the Year award winners in the U12s. Murphy was the U12s top scorer and Megan Patterson the most improved U12.

Grace Patton was the U10 Player of the Year and Ellen Temple was the U8 player of the year.

Presentations were made to senior team manager Chris McNulty and underage coach Natalie McFadden in recognition of their work over the season.
