Amber Barrett hits SEVENTH hat-trick to claim golden boot again

Amber Barrett netted her SEVENTH hat-trick of the season at the weekend as Peamount United thumped Cork City 9-1.

Barrett’s latest treble means that the Milford native has ended the Women’s National League season as the top scorer again this season.

The weekend’s hat-trick took Barrett onto 30 goals for the season for the Peas.

Barrett’s goals all came in the first half and it sets Peamount up for Sunday’s WFAI Cup final.

They face Wexford at the Aviva Stadium in the curtain raiser to the Dundalk-Cork FAI Cup final.
