Magees and Darragh all advance at SaarLorLux Open in Germany

The Donegal badminton contingent were all celebrating wins this evening at the SaarLorLux Open in Germany.

Chloe Magee, Sam Magee, Rachael Darragh and Joshua Magee were all toasting victories in Saarbrucken.

In the mixed doubles, Sam and Chloe Magee linked up for a 21-10 21-12 win over Daniel Hess and Stine Susan Kuspert.

Rachael Darragh teamed up with Paul Reynolds to defeat Andreas Zbinden and Nadia Fankhauser 21-14 21-18.

In the women’s singles, Darragh was defeated by Alicia Molitor 13-21 21-15 21-19.

However, Joshua Magee scored a superb 21-19 21-15 win over Wolfgang Gnedt.

They return to action tomorrow.
