This year’s Santa Express at Oakfield Park includes a new theme as well as lots of additional features including story-telling, Elf workshops and a craft marquee.

Children and families are invited to experience the magical four realms in Oakfield Park’s enchanted woodland and board the Santa Express where they’ll enjoy an exciting train ride through Oakfield Park’s magnificent woodlands, through thousands of Christmas lights, installations and decorations.

On arrival, children and families will be welcomed to a cosy grotto where Father Christmas and his special helpers will be waiting to greet them.

Families and friends are invited to step aboard The Santa Express at Oakfield Park; take a trip through thousands of Christmas lights, installations and decorations before meeting Santa and his elves.

All children on Santa’s list will receive a gift and adults can enjoy the event with a complimentary hot drink of mulled wine. The park’s restaurant, Buffers, will also be open so guests and families can enjoy a delicious festive menu and children can post their Christmas letter to Santa in the special post box.

As part of The Santa Express in Oakfield Park, new Autism friendly train rides with tailored experiences have been introduced.
