The Chairperson of the Donegal Sports Star Awards Committee has highlighted the importance of getting nominations submitted as soon as possible with the deadline now less than a fortnight away.

Grace Boyle said there was an array of splendid sporting successes at home and abroad achieved by teams and individuals from the county that should be included in the list for the 2018 Donegal Sports Star Awards.

The closing date for nominations is Friday 23rd November.

“It’s been another fantastic year for Donegal sport locally, nationally and abroad so it’s important now that those successes are reflected in the nominations list for this year’s Donegal Sports Star Awards,” she said.

“We’re delighted with the response so far since nominations opened last month but there is plenty of other significant successes that should be on the list for 2018 so we would now encourage those sporting organisations to get those names into us by Friday the 23rd of November.”

Nominations can be made online at www.donegalsportsstarawards.ie
Go to the nominations page and email to info@donegalsportsstarawards.ie. Or by completing a simple  nomination form which can be downloaded and posted to  Paul McDaid, Post Office, Ramelton
