Letterkenny Institute of Technology were held to a scoreless draw away to UCD this afternoon.

LyIT had plenty of chances to come away with the win, but Johnny Baird’s side had to be content with a share of the spoils.

They also earned a credible away point at University of Ulster in their opening game.

Ahead of a huge home game against IT Sligo next Tuesday at the Port Road, it means LyIT have five points from their first three outings of the season.

Letterkenny Institute of Technology: Aoife McColgan, Aisling Nee, Zoe Green, Chantel Kelly, Hannah Shields, Zoe McGlynn, Nicole Gordon, Aishleen McGuinness, Lauren Cregan, Eilish Havlin, Amy Hyndman. Subs: Niamh Callaghan for Havlin, Rachel McLaughlin for Nee.
