The Donegal Derry Vipers touched down at the Aura Leisure centre in Letterkenny on Sunday searching for some new talent to add to their roster for the 2019 season.

The Vipers were greeted with a large turnout with players coming from all over Donegal to try the sport for the first time.

Drumkeen native and Head Coach Pauric Rose was delighted with what he saw on an exciting day of tryouts.

The tryouts consisted of fitness drills based on a typical American Football combine to assess the speed, strength and agility of players.

The next tryouts are set for this Sunday the December 2 at Limavady RFC 11am-1pm, with the final tryouts taking place the week after on December 9 at Duncreggan Student Village Derry, 11am-1pm.

If you want to sign up for the Tryouts just visit www.ddvipers.com and fill in the form to let them know you are attending.
