Ronan Curtis continued his red-hot streak as Portsmouth maintained their lead at the summit of League One.

Curtis netted the second goal in Pompey’s 2-0 win over Walsall at Fratton Park.

Oli Hawkins headed Portsmouth in front in the first half and four minutes after the break, Curtis struck.

Curtis had gone close just before the break but the St Johnston man fired home at the second attempt in the 49th minute.

When he was replaced by Kenny Jackett later in the game, Curtis was given a standing ovation after his seventh goal of the season.
