Confirmed: Master list reveals fixture dates for Donegal footballers in 2019

Donegal’s fixtures for the 2019 campaign has been confirmed following the release of the 2019 Master Fixture Schedule by the GAA today.

Declan Bonner’s men will begin the defence of their Ulster SFC title with the away tie in Brewster Park against Fermanagh, managed by former Donegal boss Rory Gallagher, on the weekend ending Sunday, May 26th.

The winners of the Donegal-Fermanagh game will face Tyrone, Derry or Antrim in a semi-final on the weekend of June 9.

The Ulster final is pencilled in for Sunday, June 23rd, with the Super 8 series, should Donegal make it to that stage, to begin on the weekend of July 14.

Donegal’s Allianz League Division 2 games have also been confirmed. This year, Donegal have four home games – in Ballybofey against Meath and Armagh; in Letterkenny against Fermanagh; and in Ballyshannon against Kildare.

Sunday January 27 v Clare, Ennis, 2pm

Saturday February 2 v Meath, MacCumhaill Park, 7pm

Sunday February 10 v Tipperary, Thurles, 2pm

Sunday February 24 v Fermanagh, O’Donnell Park, 2pm

Saturday March 2 v Armagh, MacCumhaill Park, 7.15pm

Saturday March 16 v Cork, Pairk Ui Chaoimh, 2pm

Sunday March 24 v Kildare, Fr Tierney Park, 2pm
