Goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher has given Finn Harps fans a further boost by agreeing terms for the 2019 season.

The Raphoe man (26) kept 14 clean sheets during the promotion winning campaign.

While Gallagher is currently recovering from the knee injury that kept him out of Harps’ play-off win over Limerick, he is on course with his rehab and has put pen to paper on a new deal.

“Ciaran was in great form last season and we’ll need that and more from him in the Premier Division,” Horgan said

“We’re going to be under far more pressure defensively so having Ciaran signed again is a big plus.”

Gallagher made his 200th appearance for Harps in the Premier Division game against Bohemians in Ballybofey in July 2017.

Only Gerry Murray has made more appearances as goalkeeper for Harps.
