Donegal County Childcare Committee CLG (DCCC) seeks recruit a Manager at their Letterkenny-based agency. 

Donegal County Childcare Committee CLG (DCCC) is a local government-supported agency that works for the development, sustainability and advancement of high quality early childhood care and education in County Donegal.

The role of the Manager is to ensure a strategic and co-ordinated approach to the development of early childhood education and care in Donegal.  The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organisation in the following areas: financial management, strategic management, team management, operational management and project management.  

The Manager will report to the Board of the Donegal County Childcare Committee CLG and with the Board manage issues relating to policy and the local administration of the National Childcare Investment Programme in line with POBAL and DCYA.

The successful candidate will be committed to the ethos, aims and objectives of DCCC. He/she will have at least five years’ experience in project and staff management and will have high interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, be capable of working effectively in both stand-alone, teamwork and inter-agency situations and be able to demonstrate effective team leadership qualities. The successful candidate will hold a level 8 qualification or higher relevant to the post. A working knowledge of the Irish language is an advantage.

Salary:  Grade VI (€46,771 – €57,157)
