Christmas cheer for Friels from Fanad as Ann Marie scoops top prize in Bonagee draw!

Ann Marie Friel from Fanad was the lucky winner of the top prize in Bonagee United FC’s annual draw.

The draw was conducted at McGettigan’s Bar in the Clanree Hotel on Saturday night last.

Ann Marie was the first name pulled from the drum by Annraoi Cheevers, Principal of Lurgybrack National School, who conducted the draw.

Ann Marie, mother of Bonagee United senior ladies goalkeeper Clare, scooped the €3,000 top prize.

Bonagee United Chairman Donal Coyle thanked all those who had supported the draw, which has become a huge success for the Dry Arch Park club.

 

The full list of award winners was: 1st prize of €3000, Annemarie Friel, Fanad; 2ndPrize Holiday for 2 in the Canary Islands  Peter Patton Junior Maherabouy; 3rd Prize 1000 litres home heating oil Ciara O’Donnell St. Johnston; 4th prize, 1 year’s membership for the Clanree Leisure Centre Noel Heekin, Elmwood Downs; 5thprize Laptop Joey Hegarty Beechwood; 6th prize €400 Menswear Voucher Catherine Slevin Castlefin; 7th Prize hybrid bike Stephen Doherty Bonagee; 8th prize, €400 sports voucher Maisie O’Kane Convoy; 9th prize €200 Caoimhe Gibbons Rahn Meadow; 10th prize €100 Roche family Kiltoy.
