Martin Harley on the double for victory at Lingfield

Martin Harley recorded a fine double at Lingfield Park yesterday.

The Trentagh man won on the 11/10 favourite Nylon Speed and the 3/1 Salateen.

On the Alan King-trained Nylon Speed, Harley had two lengths of a winning margin from Dutch Uncle in the Betway Casino Handicap.

Nylon Speed quickened under pressure from Harley and took the advantage over the final furlong.

In the next race, Harley was aboard David O’Meara’s Salateen and also had two lengths to spare, this time over one mile.

Harley and Salateen had too much in the tank for the pre-race 4/5 favourite Straight Right.
