Derry City Reserves inflicted a first USL defeat of the season on Letterkenny Rovers at the Brandywell yesterday.

Jack Parke struck an injury-time winner as the young Candystripes took a fine win, after Jonny Bonner cancelled out Jack Malone’s opener.

Rovers had been eight-from-eight going into yesterday’s game.

However, Derry handed Eamonn McConigley’s men a first League loss of what had been an impressive season.
