Hot on the heels of a win at Southwell yesterday, Martin Harley was back in the winners’ enclosure again this evening.

The Trentagh man took victory in the 6.15 race at Wolverhampton, aboard 7/4 joint favourite Aircraft Carrier.

Over the two-and-a-half-mile course, Harley and the four-year-old, trained by John Ryan, made the move inside the final furlong.

Under increasing pressure from the other 7/4 shot, Festival Of Ages, ridden by Adam Kirby, Harley held on to win by three-quarters of a length and record his sixth win of the year.
