113 walkers, joggers and runners braved the frosty weather to take part in this weeks Letterkenny Parkrun 5k.
Philip O’Hare finished ahead of Richard Gibson with an unregistered runner in third place. Letterkenny Parkrun has had a phenominel start to 2019 with numbers of 110, 131 and this weeks figure of 113 showing great consistency in being over 100 runners in each of the three weeks of the New Year.
So far the resolutions made seem to be holding firm and congratulations to everyone who has contributed either by volunteering or participating since the commencement of 2019.
New people are always welcome to come and take part or volunteer in the running of the parkrun event which is a very rewarding experience for whichever is chosen.
Letterkenny Parkrun is free to enter, with parking free until 11.00 am at St. Conals Complex, Kilmacrennan Road each Saturday morning with a 9.30am start.
If you would like to walk, jog or run the 5k come along any Saturday and you will receive a very warm welcome.
