Sam Magee and Chloe Magee won an 11th FZ Forza Irish Senior National title in 12 years yesterday.
The Raphoe brother-sister combination proved too hot to handle in the Championships in Dublin.
The Magees defeated Paul Reynolds and their niece Rachael Darragh in the final.
Reynolds and Darragh were tough opponents, but it was the Magees who came out on top 21-14, 22-20 in the final.
The Magees didn’t have it all their own way, but their experienced saw them through.
On their way to the final, the Magees beat Adam Mcallister and Rachael Woods (21-9 21-11) and the pairing of Daniel O’Meara and Alexandra Troy (21-8 21-11).
Darragh reached three finals yesterday, losing out in the women’s singles final to Kate Frost 21-15 21-12.
However, Darragh teamed up with Sara Boyle to win the women’s doubles, with a win over Oral Flynn and Vicki Pesti.

Darragh and Boyle were 21-11 21-13 winners, giving Darragh a gold and two silvers for the weekend.
In the men’s singles final, Joshua Magee was beaten in an epic match by Johnathan Dolan. In three games, Dolan prevailed 21-16 14-21 21-14.
