Listen: Gorman insists Letterbarrow still have Division 2 in their own hands

Denis Gorman insists that Letterbarrow Celtic won’t be ‘throwing in the towel’ after yesterday’s narrow loss to Gweedore United.

Letterbarrow’s 3-2 loss means they fall three points behind Raphoe Town at the top of Division 2 in the Donegal League.

“We’re still in the mix,” Gorman reflected to Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.

“It was a very disappointing result for us.

“This is only the second game we’ve lost this year.

“There is no-one going to throw in the towel. We could have got a bit of breathing space. It’s still in our own hands. There are no easy games in this Division.”

Gorman was full of praise for Pól McGee’s Gweedore United, adding: “It’s always a difficult place to come.  They were really up for it. If they can play like that, they’d be at the top of the League.”
