With just over a week to go until the start of the new season, Finn Harps are ready to take their place back among the elite of Irish football.

Harps launched their new season at An Danlann, the sports centre at Letterkenny Institute of Technology, last night – and Commercial Officer Aidan Campbell says the support of the Donegal public will be key in 2019.

The launch included a ‘Meet and Greet’ with players, an update on plans for celebrating the club’s 50th anniversary in the League of Ireland; viewing of new Stadium plans and the launch of a new Finn Harps website

Among those who addressed the launch were Commercial Officer Aidan Campbell, director Paul McLoone and Ciarán MacLochlainn from DIAGA Design, while Club Director Kathy Taffe was MC for the evening.

“The excitement is on and the clock has run down,” Campbell told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.

“If we could stay up it would be fantastic; a brilliant achievement.

“We are depending on the public. We rely more on gates. If games don’t go well, for them not to walk away.”
