Maxi Curran has urged his Donegal Ladies to continue their impressive start in the Lidl National Football League.

Curran side recorded their second league victory in another brave performance under miserable conditions at St Mary’s Convoy against Mayo Ladies, with Karen Guthrie, Rosin Friel and Ciara Grant all getting goals to seal another three points.

Speaking to Donegal Daily following his side’s victory, Curran said: “We are delighted considering the conditions, it was going to be a battle and you know we got off to a good start but then Mayo pegged us back and we were struggling to get out of our own half.”
