Glengad United have been handed another away draw for the quarter-finals of the FAI Junior Cup.

Shane Byrne’s team will be away to Clonmel Town in their quarter-final next month.

Glengad sealed their place in the last eight via a 3-1 win over Crettyard in Carlow, with Terence Doherty, James McKinney and Connor Barrow on the mark.

Before seeing off Crettyard, Glengad overcame Birr Town, having previously beaten Geraldines, Illies Celtic, Castlefin Celtic and Redcastle United.

The Crua men were quarter-finalists two years ago, when they were beaten by Pike Rovers of Limerick.

The quarter-finals are pencilled in for the weekend of March 10th.
