LyIT lost out 2-1 to UCC.
Nicole Gordon netted for Johnny Baird’s team, but UCC proved just too strong.
Last week, LyIT put up a fighting display against Carlow IT in the CUFL Premier Division semi-final.
LyIT’s season continues, however, as they will now play in the Leyden Shield.
