Due to our continued success Mc Gettigans Hotel, Letterkenny are recruiting for the following positions:

Hotel Receptionist

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Receptionist to join our talented team.

We require candidates to have two years’ experience working in a Hotel Reception, a working knowledge of Reservation system Hotsoft would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate must have fluent English, excellent communication skills, be motivated , enthusiastic and have a friendly and outgoing personality.

Main duties include:

* Assisting the Front Office Supervisor and the team with the smooth running of the reception
* Work as part of a team but also be able to work on their own initiative.
* Follow the day-to-day procedures of guest check-in and check-out.
* Deal with and resolve guest queries.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* The ability to handle cash efficiently.
* Balancing and handling of cash.
* Providing high-level customer services both face to face and over the phone.
* Upselling the hotels facilities.

Experienced Senior Chef De Partie (Warehouse Bar + Kitchen)

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Chef De Partie to be part of our dynamic Kitchen team

You will need to have the following

  • Excellent culinary background required, 2+ years’ experience in this role.
  • Have excellent HACCP & Hygiene awareness.
  • Be able to work in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Be able to work under pressure whilst also producing excellent cuisine.
  • Confident working on your own initiative and also part of a successful team.
  • Have experience in a busy Kitchen.
