The start of the annual competition calendar was postponed last weekend due to the inclement weather but it will get underway this weekend Saturday 16, Sunday 17 and Monday 18 March with the O’ Flaherty Fitness & Performance Open Stableford.

There is over €1,000.00 in prizes for this competition with first prize being Annual Membership. There is a timesheet in operation and a tee time can be booked by contacting the clubhouse on 0749362279.

Mini-League

The quarterfinals of the Mini-League will also take place this weekend and the draw is as follows; Derek Smith & Martin Barber v Mark Monaghan & Sean T. Murphy, Tony Hegarty & Kevin Mc Grath v Oliver Doherty & Mickey Mc Cann, Paul Eccles & Kevin Mc Dermott v Shaun Devlin & Henry Mc Daid, Hugh Doherty & Tony Mc Sherry v Barry Doherty & Ryan Mc Hugh.

With some good draws the quarterfinal matches promise to be exciting and with nothing between the pairings it will be whoever performs best on the day. However the match of the round will be Oliver Doherty & Mickey Mc Cann against Tony Hegarty & Kevin Mc Dermott. With Oliver and Mickey proving to be a formidable pairing and indeed most pundit’s favourites to take the Mini-League title Tony and Kevin will need to be on top of their game to progress to the semi-finals.

Find the Joker Fundraising

The “Find the Joker” is up and running again with a Jackpot of €1,150.00, lines only cost €2 each and this draw is open to members and non-members alike. Lines can be purchased in the clubhouse or through chief seller Oliver Doherty.

Membership Deals

There are great membership deals available at present i.e. golf until March 1st 2020 – Men €333.00, Ladies €232, complete beginners male €260.00 and Lady €190.00 all rates inclusive of G.U.I. & Insurance fees. The male membership fees will increase by €17.00 after the 17th March 2019. Anyone paid in full on or before the 17th March will be exempt from this increase.
