If you want to win a big lump of money on the National Lottery, then moving to Donegal will certainly improve your chances.

For the FIFTH time in six weeks, a local player has been chosen to appear on RTE’s Winning Streak show.

Bus driver Mickey McDaid is to appear on the show this Saturday night.

Mickey, who is known as Mickey ‘O’ from New Mills, is a bus driver with Patrick Gallagher buses.

He follows in the footsteps of a number of other players who have appeared ion the show in recent weeks.

The run of luck was kick-started at the end of January by Falcarragh woman Rosie Collum.

And then Killygordon man Gerard Muldoon got in on the act four weeks ago.

The following week it was the turn of Teresa Shiels from Letterkenny who was followed by Redcastle man Pauric Collum who scooped €23,000.

Now Mickey is set to make it five on the trot for Donegal.

Can Mickey scoop the magic €500,000? Tune in on Saturday night to see.
