Kilmacrennan Celtic saw off Keadue Reserves to maintain their four-point advantage at the top of the Brian McCormick Premier Division on Thursday night.

The home side were ruthless in their opening performance, scoring three times within the first 16 minutes to kill the game early on.

Speaking to Charlie Collins following the emphatic performance, Kilmacrennan manager Gerard McGranaghan said he was happy with his sides’ initial start.

“We had a very good start (to the game),” McGranaghan said. “We came out of the blocks very good and I think we caught them cold to be honest.

“The ball was in the box and we got goals but when you go 3-0 up you kind of take the foot off the gas.”
