The Gaelscoil Adhamhnáin will host their much-anticipated Lip Sync Battle on Friday, March 29 at 8pm in The Mount Errigal Hotel.

Monies raised will be the start of the schools extensive fundraising campaign for the development of an all-weather astro-turf pitch for the Gaelscoil.

The annual event will see ten acts, ranging from teachers to parents perform at Gaelscoil Adhamhnáins Lip Sync Battle.

The contestants are very busy rehearsing their performances and finalising props and costumes for the night.

Over twenty other local companies have also supported the Lip Sync Fundraiser by sponsoring individual and group acts.

Judges on for the thrilling night include Caoimhe Ní Chathail, a past pupil of Gaelscoil Adhamhnáin and presenter on TG4, Michael Carey also from the town and a popular presenter who is also working with TG4, Kieran Kelly, an actor and local historian, and finally Múinteoir Méadhbh Nic Fhionnghaile, a retired teacher from Gaelscoil Adhamhnáin who will be back for one night only.

There will be two winners on the night, one act will be selected by the judges, and one act will be selected by the audience.

Tickets are now on sale for a cost of €15.00 and are available from the school.
