A fantastic day (and night!) is in store this Saturday in Killybegs in memory of a Dubliner who made Donegal his home.
Ken Byrne may have been born in the heart of the capital, but he found happiness in Bruckless.
Ken passed away much too soon last year after a brave battle with cancer.
Now a fundraising day is to be held in his memory to gather much-needed funding for the Irish Cancer Society.
The day centres around the Bayview Hotel in Killybegs with a variety of events taking place.
As well as a silent auction for some amazing sporting memorabilia, there will also be a pop-up boutique.
That night there will be a dance with live music from Paul and Mary B from 9pm with a guest appearance from TV personality Noel Cunningham.
So if you knew Ken or he ever touched your life as he did so many people, pop along for five minutes or five hours and honour his memory and help fund the fight against cancer.
Rest easy Ken.
