Residents in south Donegal have been warned to expect traffic management plans and short-term water shut offs on Monday as new connection work takes place.

Irish Water working in partnership with Donegal County Council is set to commence works in Tober, while repairs on two different water pipes will be carried out from 10am until 4pm.

Areas affected include:

  • Mountcharles
  • Drumconnor
  • Dromore
  • Durin
  • Donegal Town
  • Cullionboy
  • Barnesmore
  • Keadew Lower
  • Druminnin

All works in the area have an estimated completion time of 4pm on March 25.

Irish Water recommends that residents allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.
