Job Vacancy: Trainee Structural Steel Detailer sought by Mc Menamin Engineering Ltd

Mc Menamin Engineering Ltd is a family business with over 30 years’ experience servicing the construction sector.

We are seeking to recruit for the following position at our operations in Lismulladuff, Killygordon, Co. Donegal.

On receipt of training as a structural steel detailer, you will be taking projects from the design stage through to producing workshop drawings for workshop floor and for the site, including input into purchasing of materials and services.

While training will be provided, the candidate should have the following:

  • A third level qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of one-year post qualification work experience in CAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong technical and IT skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and articulating skills
  • Previous experience in steel and cladding detailing is an advantage but not essential.
