The Irish Downhill mountain bike series continued at the weekend in Bree in Co Wexford.

For Donegal’s Adam Voss and Callum Morris, the long trip was rewarded with a podium for both riders.

Tir Chonaill Gap CC member Adam Voss, from Donegal Town, was fourth in the morning’s seeding run and knew he had to push hard to move up positions.

After his race run Adam said he had a few close shaves but was delighted to finish 3rd in the sport category, taking nearly 1 second off his first timed run.

Inishowen’s Callum Morris was sitting second after his seeding run with less than a second between the top three U14 riders, it was a tight battle.

All thre riders improved on their race run with Callum taking two seconds off his time and top spot by 0.7 of a second.

The next event on the calendar for the Donegal riders is the Irish Enduro Championships in June.
