Cloughaneely Golf Club: Super win for Dan Mulhern and John Murphy in Minor League

Cloughaneely’s Minor League team played last Sunday and took two matches away in Murvagh. A super win for Dan Mulhern and his partner John Murphy.

Club notes

Joe McGarvey and Dan Doohan and Connie Ferry and Kevin Boyle both got a half match. The return leg is this coming Sunday 9th at 1pm all support welcome.

We also host Letterkenny this Friday at 4pm in the return leg of the Donegal League with a big result needed to beat the defending champions.

On Saturday 8th we host Rosapenna in the return leg of the Junior Matchplay all support is welcomed.

Last Sunday’s Competition was won by Gerard Doran. The competition this weekend is a Singles Stableford. Next week we have a busy week with John McGinley’s 2019 Presidents Prize.

The Ladies Competition is on Thursday. We have a shoot-out on Thursday 13th draw at 6pm.

There will be a 9 Hole Scramble on Friday 14th draw at 6pm. On Saturday 15th we have the 2019 President’s Prize with golfers competing for this major trophy play anytime 8am up until 11.30am with top 10 and two gross qualifyings for the 9 Hole Play-Off at 5.30pm.

Presentation of Prizes at 9pm all welcome. We have just finalised our 2019 tee box sponsors some signage and sponsorship options are still available please contact Sean O Gallchoir or Owenie McFadden.
