A DONEGAL GAA Golf Classic is being hosted at Dunfanaghy Golf Club next month.

Former Donegal star Sean Ferriter, who is the President at Dunfanaghy GC, is hosting the competition on Friday, July 19.

Former Kerry footballer Tómas Ó Sé is the special guest on the day while a number of former Donegal footballers, including Brendan Devenney, Eamon McGee, Neil Gallagher and Christy Toye, will also be in attendance.

After the golf, the legendary players will take part in a Championship preview, hosted by MC Charlie Collins.

The early part of the day will see a four ball competition take place around the Dunfanaghy course.

The event is being sponsored by Cathal Jackson of Copperfacejacks.

All funds raised on the day will go towards the Donegal GAA training fund.

There are some great prizes to be won, including prizes sponsored by Carton House and the Galway Bay Resort.

There will also be an auction and raffle taking place in the clubhouse.

The event is open to all and team of four costs €400 to enter.
