Minister for Education and Skills Joe McHugh has announced funding has been approved for St Joseph’s NS, Trentagh, Letterkenny for works on the school’s heating system.

“I am delighted to be able to share some good news back home of investment in St Joseph’s NS,” Minister McHugh said.

“The funding approval will ensure St Joseph’s can carry out work to replace the boiler and upgrade the flue in the heating system in the school.”

The Building Unit in the Department of Education and Skills approved funding under the Emergency Works scheme.

Minister McHugh shared the good news with the school while on a fact-finding mission to the UAE.

“I’ve been talking to principal Grainne Duggan and it’s great to be able to share news like this,” the Minister said.

“I hope the work will be carried out in the coming weeks and the school can look forward to the improvements being ready for the coming school year.”
